Carbonated drinks (also known as sparkling drinks, fizzy drinks, or soft drinks) are beverages that contain dissolved carbon dioxide (CO₂), which creates the characteristic bubbles and effervescence. This carbonation is either naturally occurring or artificially added, and it is what gives these drinks their fizzy, bubbly texture and distinct "tingling" sensation when consumed.
